A peek into the production room...

Our custom furniture starts as a concept, a sketch, a fabric choice, and a really talented work room.

A sketch of a club chair

The frame in production.  A beautiful linen fabric in light blue.

The finished product ready to ship.

A pair of wing chairs in the framing stage

These host and hostess wing chairs in Schumacher fabric are to be placed at the head of a significant dining room table

I love this tufted sofa we upholstered with Raoul Fabric.

How great is the trim?!!

Naturally it's all white glove shipping!!

Using story boards during the creative process

We've been very busy putting rooms together for clients in our project room.  We have walls with large story boards where we mix and match fabrics, furniture, color, trims and lamps.  Below are some rough draft pictures we took early in the process recently.  It's just so fun!!

Spring/Summer - Hurry up please!

Some things never change... When August rolls around I start to think about Fall and eveything that is cozy - coats, sweaters, boots, dinner parties with yummy red wine and fall leaves.

Then in February I start to OBSESS on warmer weather and eveything that goes with it!  White jeans, sandals, my favorite Balenciaga straw bag, listening to great music and playing cards with my husband on the patio and of course outdoor entertaining!

I am madly in love with this outdoor furniture from Mc Kinnon and Harris.  We have used it on previous projects and we have several upcoming projects with tremendous gardens, pools and waterfront that call for it.  Look below and you will see why...

Superbowl Sunday is for me...

While my Husband and kids are watching the game I will be on my laptop in front of the fire and my homemade lime tortilla chips (have been making them forever and they are truly addictive) and guacamole, searching for my Spring Bag... Anya Hindmarch and Balenciaga Spring lovelies.

Peter Dunham... Fabric Obsession

Peter Dunham has been a design hero of mine for a long time.  Not only I am in love with his style, but I am also constantly drawn to his fabric line for my projects.  His store in Los Angeles, Hollywood At Home, is where I always can find "my center" as far as my look.   When I am in LA, which has been a lot lately working to finish two projects, Peter and his staff always are so helpful.
This is "EVERYTHING I LOVE..."

I have mentioned before that we are working on designing our new office and have chosen the fabric Samarkand.  Below are some images of this fabric done in a few different colors and applications.  We have chosen the blue/green colorway for the draperies in my office.

This dining room in East Hampton has become such an inspiration for another great project we are working on for a seaside home here on the East Coast.

This chair in the red/blue colorway is being used for a project here in Greenwich.  It will be the "go to" print of the room, not only on upholstered pieces, but on pillows and lampshades.  I so excited about this project.  I have already had a couple design publications asking for new material and this project is going to be incredible!!
Stay tuned!!

Another fun way to use Samarkand done by my friend Windsor Smith

The bench in the entry of this house is exactly what I would want to see when I come home.

Blue/Green colorway for our office draperies...Love it!
Can't wait to show everyone.
We're thinking about having a party when it's finished.
